Description

Our Engineers are at the forefront of product implementation and improvements. As a part of this graduate program, you will work across major functions (Making, Packing, or Engineering) to develop innovative solutions aimed at improving processes. You will analyze, investigate, and provide suggestions to improve existing manufacturing or assembly processes. This role also involves the design, development, and operation of integrated production systems, with a focus on continuous improvement of machinery and process systems. You will have opportunities to implement lean manufacturing methods and increase product quality, all while identifying and eliminating process losses.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, investigate, and make suggestions to improve manufacturing or assembly processes
  • Design, develop, and operate integrated production systems
  • Take an active role in continuous improvement of machinery and process systems
  • Maintain focus on opportunities to implement lean manufacturing methods
  • Increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and success of overall product quality
  • Identify, prioritize, and eliminate process losses
  • Build process capability and control
  • Define equipment standards, lead process benchmarking and reapplication, and build the capability for technical troubleshooting and process improvement

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 3-year or 4-year qualification (final year students can apply)
  • Graduates with no work experience are encouraged to apply
  • Availability for the graduate program for 12 months
  • Strong analytical skills to drive change and innovation
  • Leadership skills and the ability to engage a team or diverse culture
  • Technical proficiency
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong level of English, both written and spoken
  • Hands-on experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Process role is a plus
